The school year has come to an end for Liv. She had a fantastic year. I couldn't have asked for it to be any better. She loved her teachers, friends, and even the bus ride. She enjoyed socializing the most. No surprise there! But she did manage to learn lots of new songs, dances, shapes and all that fun stuff. I don't think she quite understands that she is done. She keeps asking what she can wear to school tomorrow. I'm sure it's hard for her to understand because Grace is still going. Liv has been having fun playing T-ball. Her favorite part is wearing her short shorts and knee high socks. Last weekend she had her shorts pulled up so high her undies were hanging out as she was running to home! It was a sight...
Grace has 8 more days! This has been a big year for Grace. She's loved going to school just as much as Liv. I'm so thankful that they look forward to it. I know my days are numberd! Grace accomplished reaching 500 points in the reading counts program. It's a huge deal.. She's the first one in the school to do it! They have an end of year awards ceremony and she'll get something special then. We're so proud of her! Tonight she asked if I had Power Point on my computer. She made her own presentation about animals. I think I'm still beaming! She did a fantastic job. She wrote something about each animal and even downloaded clip art off the internet. She's such an old soul. Sometimes I think she should be my mom. She's always keeping me on top of things & is a step ahead of me! We're taking a short break from horse lessons. The lady that does her lessons just had a baby - so we're waiting for her to come back. Grace has been helping out on a softball team.. Not playing - but just keeping the girls in their batting order, getting helmets, bats and cheering the team on. She seems to enjoy it. I wish she would have played..maybe next year!
Terry got me a Cedar Point Pass for Mother's Day (more for the girls - I certainly can't ride the rides!). So we've already had a few trips over there. Liv loves the rides, the faster the better. Grace is so reserved. She'd rather watch - unless I ride something with her. We all tried to ride the air balloon ride in snoopy land and it made us all sick. Liv got off and said her eyes were wiggly! We're looking forward to many trips there this summer.
Terry is still enjoying his new job. And the drive hasn't gotten to him yet. He's managed to find a golf league to join up there. So he is in his glory!
I'm taking over Grace's Girl Scout's Troop next year. I didn't realize how much went into it. But I'm looking forward to making it fun for Grace and her class mates. Lots of ideas!
We're anxiously awaiting the arrival of two little boys - Jackson & Landon. Showers, shopping, decorating and spoiling... yeah!
That's all for now. I will add pictures soon! Lots of Love to you all!
